Privacy at Drama Playverse
In one breath: we never learn who you are, and we keep no profile of you. Below, each of the handful of technical things that happen during a visit gets its own short note.
Nothing to sign up for
There are no accounts, newsletters, comment boxes or contact forms on this site, so no names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers or payment details ever travel to us. We do not collect personal information, and we run no advertising trackers, third-party analytics scripts or social media widgets.
Delivery through Cloudflare
Every page is served via Cloudflare, a network that stores short-lived copies of our pages close to readers and filters out abusive traffic before it reaches us. To do that job Cloudflare processes the connection details of each request under its own published privacy terms.
What our server writes down
Our server, in common with nearly all others on the web, writes standard access logs. Each entry notes when a request arrived, which path it was for, the status code we answered with, the referring page when your browser supplies one, the browser's self-description (its user-agent) and the originating network address. We read these entries in bulk to count visits, find broken links and block misuse. They are never sold or handed to advertisers.
One small signal per page
The first real tap, touch, mouse-wheel turn or key press on a page prompts it to send one tiny anonymous note to our server. That note lists three things only: which page you are reading, the domain that referred you there when your browser shares one, and a running count of the time the page has been open, measured in milliseconds. No identifier rides along; the note exists so we can separate human visitors from automated ones.
Preview videos and outbound links
Preview episodes stream from servers operated by the rights holders or by distribution platforms, and those servers receive the ordinary request data from your browser while a video loads. When you follow a gold launch button you leave Drama Playverse, and the app or site you arrive at applies its own privacy rules. Some of those links are affiliate links that may earn us a commission.
Your clipboard
A launch page may display a short search code. Only a press on the gold button beside that code writes it to your clipboard. The page never peeks at what your clipboard already holds and never fills it by itself.
Cookies and the video helper
We set no cookies. For some previews your browser receives a small background helper, known as a service worker, that pulls the episode down in pieces so playback stays smooth. It keeps no record about you, and wiping this site's data in your browser settings deletes it.
If this page changes
Any revision will be published at this same address.
