Manchild: Cut the Cord
Parents cut the cord; a manchild learns to stand.
At twenty-nine, Jack weighs 350 pounds and has never paid a bill, funneling his parents' savings into a camgirl fixation. When his father collapses, Jack refuses the hospital run, and his mother responds by selling their home, pressing five hundred dollars and a single key into his hand, then vanishing from his life. Hungry and alone, he drifts into Hank's auto shop, where filthy labor and reluctant guidance become the forge for a new self.
