Satan and His Little Believer
A typo summons the Devil to protect a lonely child.
Six-year-old Poppy endures relentless torment in a collapsing shack after her parents perished rescuing strangers. A Christmas Eve misspelling routes her wish list to the ruler of the underworld instead of the North Pole. Satan answers by sending Cerberus, stripped of two heads and disguised as a bow-wearing puppy, to guard his new believer. The hellhound, renamed Pippy, speaks to her and chases away a home intruder, granting Poppy her first taste of family. When school cruelty escalates, the Devil himself manifests as a colossal shadow to scatter the tormentors, shattering infernal law and suffering black lightning wounds. Ignoring his unhealed injuries, he later adopts Poppy as Lucifer Morningstar to prevent her removal by an orphanage. On Christmas Day, he storms Heaven, scorched by holy light, to retrieve her parents' souls for a final dream reunion.
